It is equipped with thickening, water retention, film forming, surface activity, lubrication, emulsification, suspension and other functions. Otherwise, this type cellulose ether also has curdlan, antiferment, odorless, tasteless, stable under PH value and other features.

2. Physicochemical property
1. Outlook: HPMC is white or almost white crystalline powder; Odorless, non-poisonous, tasteless;
2. Solubility: HPMC can not dissolve in grain alcohol, aether and acetone without water, and in the cold water, it can dissolve into clear or slight feculent colloidal solution.
3. Granule: 80 eyes passing rate 100%
4. Stacking density: 0.3-0.5g/cm³
